Focus and Scope
International Journal for Regional Development (IJRD) is a scientific, academic review covering all fields of policies, administration and management of regional affairs, including, but not limited to, business ethics, business strategy, entrepreneurship, innovation, international projects, cross-cultural studies, as well as supply chain and operations management.
The IJRD aims to present the latest thinking and research on major regional development topics in the form of articles that meet high academic quality standards, while still being accessible to non-specialists. Interdisciplinary research and cross-functional issues are particularly favoured. The IJRD encourages submissions from other disciplines if they contribute significantly to problems considered by managers and researchers in the field of regional development.
Section Policies
International Journal for Regional Development welcomes initial approaches from prospective authors. Acceptance of articles is subject to an anonymous refereeing process. Articles submitted to IJRD should be original contributions and should not be under consideration for any other publications at the same time. If another version of the article is under consideration by another publication, or has been, or will be published elsewhere, authors should clearly indicate this at the time of submission. Authors whose first language is not English should have their article read and corrected by English speaking lector.
Peer Review Process
All the articles submitted to the IJRD are peer reviewed in double-blind form by two anonymous peer reviewers. The Editorial Board will inform the authors on the results of the reviewers' and editors' work on the text in due time. The Editors reserve the right to make necessary adjustments to the text according to the propositions and standards of the English language
Publication Frequency
International Journal for Regional Development is published three times a year (in January, May and September).
Author Fees
This journal charges Publication Fee of 100 EUR (VAT not included) if article is accepted for publication. After acceptance the article will enter the production cycle and the author will be asked to pay the publication charge for the journal. No article will be published until Publication Fee is paid.
